Carefully chosen pans, a beam of light that filters unexpectedly, an ideal moment and a pinch of charm — these are the ingredients Carolina Ferrer (@carolina_ferrer_) combines to capture her passion for desserts. “I try to photograph things that you can eat with your eyes, through the colors, with my style,” says Carolina, a home cook, photographer and stylist who lives in Barcelona, Spain.

Her love for baking began as a little girl when her aunt gave her some antique children’s cookbooks. She quickly replaced her toys with the sweet flavors that she loved to bake, preferring to give her treats to family, friends and neighbors rather than eating them herself. Now, accompanied by her son, Carolina photographs cakes on an eclectic collection of plates picked up during her travels, not caring about spilling ingredients all over the table. “Sometimes my pictures are a bit chaotic with all the flour and chocolate scattered everywhere,” she says. “But that’s how I cook.” Photo by @carolina_ferrer_

Автомобиль очень долго заводится. На лицо отсутствие должного давления топлива. Диагностируем, делаем тест обратки, видим две колбы (из четырех), наполненных сливаемым топливом до краев за 2-3 секунды.

Отвозим топливную аппаратуру на диагностику. Дальнейший ремонт четырех форсунок по 13500 за каждую (!). Собираем все назад – и машина ожила.

Перед установкой на борт, раскрыли топливный фильтр, на проверку наличия грязи внутри: в целом, выглядит достойно. При наличии мусора, моются все магистрали (иногда вместе с баком).

Noga Levy-Rapoport’s (@nogalevyrapoport) journey as a climate activist started when she attended her first protest in London, Youth Strike 4 Climate, on February 15, 2019. By the end of the day, with a cheap borrowed megaphone in hand, the then-17-year-old led 5,000 people through the streets of London and had irreversibly changed the climate conversation in the UK.⁣

“For a long time, I felt very distanced from environmental issues. From a young age, we were taught about its impacts, but it was always framed in a way that signaled that the looming ecological catastrophe was inevitable. Imagine this void in my future. This idea, that one day the world would fall into chaos and we could do nothing, stayed in the back of my mind for a very long time.⁣
⁣
It was only when I heard of the waves of climate strikes, when I could see thousands of young people as worried as myself, finally coming together that I began to consider that maybe there was something we could do to push for environmental action and justice.”⁣
⁣
Today, Noga is a core organizer with the UK Student Climate Network, a group that organizes school strikes around the country and advocates for an international green recovery plan. And given the complications of COVID-19, the group has gotten creative. Every week, she joins a weekly virtual strike with hundreds of other climate activists online.⁣
⁣
“The climate movement is about mobilizing and galvanizing as many people as we can to fight for justice, and that comes through a political education of how we got to where we are and how we stand up and strike back. It’s about changing those who are apathetic into those who take action. It’s about creating a movement and continuing to build on it.⁣
⁣
One of the best pieces of advice I ever picked up was that as a young person, you have to cast aside the feeling that you need to ask permission to make a change in the world. Seize any opportunity you can find to fix injustices — it doesn’t matter how long it takes.”⁣
